YOU will be involved in the following tasks:
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of accounting data to the reporting and consolidation system, including additional analysis, schedules and research
• Supervise team delivery of month-end closings, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations
• Developing people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals by mentoring of talents within the department
• Frequently interact with finance and accounting management through the organization
• Review management reports and financial information analysis on monthly, quarterly & annual basis
• Ensure proper staffing, development and motivation of personnel
• Develop departmental policies and training documents
• Maintain compliance with internal controls
• One of the key contacts for internal, external and tax audit requests
• Lead General Ledger projects as required
• Continuously improve departmental effectiveness and efficiency
• Key contribution to department and site initiatives
What YOU will bring to the team:
• College/ University degree in accounting or other relevant field of Finance
• 5+ years of experience in the field of accounting
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
• Shared Services experience is an advantage
• Project management experience
• Solid SAP experience
• Strong control mindset
• English knowledge is a must
• Another European language knowledge is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent people management skills, coaching others in their development
• Strategic mindset. Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them not only on team level but look for opportunities and advise on departmental level, too.
