Position Summary:
Supports and/or drives global standardizations, process improvements and change projects focusing on one functional specialization (AP). Drives innovation and improvement idea realization from conception until implementation focusing on own specialization ( AP) and provides support in cross-functional ideation. Plans, coordinates and executes system enhancements and related testing. Works closely with IT BRMs and other OPEX organizations. Designs and executes ad hoc reports supporting P2P operation teams.
Areas of Responsibility:
May perform tasks involving analysis of financial and transactional data
Contributor in creation and maintenance of departmental policies, training documents and performance metrics
Gatekeeping and channeling between operations and IT
Escalation of system concerns, timely resolution and communication of issue status
Support and implement Process Improvements
Training and support of super users
Ideation for P2P project pipeline
Solution discovery and analysis
What YOU will bring to the team:
Requires a basic understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles
Sufficient understanding of the P2P processes
Structured problem solving/troubleshooting abilities and follow-up skills to perform complex issue resolution
Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels within the organization, as well as external parties.
Ability to complete activities and accomplish objectives with limited direction
Ability to process various types of AP transactions and in SAP
Experience in project activities or process improvements either as a contributor or lead
Ability to translate functional business requirements into technical ones
English language knowledge
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proven data entry, manipulation skills
Accounting knowledge & University degree is an advantage
Other European Language knowledge is an advantage
